the SJSU VSA snow trip! =] it was a while ago, but it was seem like only yesterday Tony and I were up in the WEEE hours trying to finish planning the snow trip. Now that was a lot of fun! =]
Highlights for me:

Schedule to leave at 10:30am
Actually left at 2pm.. worse than azn time
Overstuffing the van
Food not arriving in cabin until 9pm
Dinner served at 10pm
AWESOME meatballs!!
Not sleeping entire night

it was too much fun! =] I absolutely loved it. The cabin was just too beautiful. I think Cindy and I never cooked so much in our lives! We were cooking non-stop the entire weekend. There's hope for us yet! =] haha i say that because Cindy and I both claim that we never cook at home. Tony made some awesome meatballs and spaghetti on the first night. I am sure that everyone was super hungry because Thao did not arrive with the food until very late at night. LOL poor planning on Tony and my behalf. We did not realize that we were going to be at the cabin first. haha what were we thinking?? Good thing that there wasn't too much snow, so we did not have to require snow chains. First night was pretty crazy, we got to meet a couple of new people. And then it was time to sleep early since we had to head out to NorthStar the next day. Somehow Kim, Cindy, and I ended up gossiping until 3am. hahaha you know girls! =] there is always something to talk about. I ended up not sleeping until ..... well never. i ended up waking up at 5am to take a shower. Then Cindy and I started to peel potatoes at 5:30am to prepare breakfast. =] Steven helped too. heehee that was fun. We headed up the house pretty early: 8am, but ended up not leaving the cabin until.... 10ish because one of the vehicle was having trouble getting out of the drive way. hahaha so we ended up having a bunch of snowball fights. lol Tran and Thao got each other pretty good. Tony Ha got me too! crazy, got soo much snow in the car. puah, hilarious.
SNOWBOARDing was soo much fun!!! =] mMm I think got flipped over someone, fell into people, and got skiied over. LOL it was hilarious though, I think that VSA should do at least one more snowtrip and just hit the slop for the day! =] i think that Tran had a lot of fun. =] It wasn't hard to find her on the hill, just listen for the girl that was SCREAMing!! AHHHH!!! =] =] I love you Tran. We did not end up leaving the place until 4 something. It wasn't too bad or super tiring on the ride back, since the cabin was so close to North Star. I think that North Star had some pretty good deals for group prices. EVERYONE should go to North Star =]
Right when we got home, Cindy and I basically jumped into making the Pho Ga, and the Goi Ga. =] It was pretty crazy, having to prepare 30 bowls for people. I think people liked it, some of the people were eating BIG BOWLS too. like ... bowls that can fit two of my heads. lol oh what great fun =] I will go again next year. =]

So. School. Started.
I want it to end already. haha JK =] I am actually enjoying my classes this semester! I am very excited for classes. Hopefully it will SUPER motivate me to go to class everyday. I'm actually taking classes that is like super related to my potential career. So i am very excited. i don't think that my class schedule is all that heavy, but with VSA and everything. i am going to be going crazy with everything. so.. i'm pretty much full time everything :D and i am still going to loook for volunteer work and working as well. WOOHOO oh what fun. =]
FEB. 18th!! the DOWNTOWN TET PARADE! SJSU VSA will in the parade. come out to support us!! we will be working on the float in the meantime. please help us out! =] it's a great way to get to know each other better as well.
