this weekend was just theeee perfect weekend in the longest time! the weather was just too nice! sarah and I went to Santa Cruz and took a nice walk. =] TOO BAD i don't own a camera! =( *tear* we had a lot of fun i'd say. This weekend was just relaxing. Didn't have a VSA event to take care. =) I almost felt like i did not have something to do! when i should be celebrating. lol It was just nice to be able to relax and not worry about anything. and do some of the things i love most! =)
On Friday i met up with some people to talk about the cultural show. AFterwards Jenny Ly and i decided to hang out. We went to vallco mall... they are naming it Cupertino Square..... (WTF?! that's for another day). and basically just window shop! it was so much fun! =) and then i took Jenny to rent a Hindi film. I hadn't seen an indian movie in sooooooooooooooooooooooo long! I saw the opportunity. I don't know, it's just something that Drake told me last week that just clicked in my minh... nehoo!! afterwards, i went home and poped in Vivah... it was a good movie =) it had Shahid Kapoor and Amrita Rao.. Two of my favorite people that is closer to my generation (STill love Ahbishek!! SRK!! Kajol! and Rani! ) it was a very sweet movie, refreshing and simple compared to the korean drama that i watch. I probably need to learn to switch over to korean movies... so it won't take up ALL of my time. lol =) but yeah. great cute love story.
Funniest thing happened on Saturday. I was out having lunch with Cindy, Steven, Minh, Sonny, & Dan at Dao kao in downtown sj. During the meal, everyone started talking about all these movies and t.v. shows that occured recently. I just sat there staring at everyone blank-lessly while they were all laughing... then Steven and I exchanged a stare and the silly conversation begins:
Me: "I have NO idea what you guys are talking about!!"
S: "THat is what happens when you spent all of ur time watching Korean DRAMA!!"
Me: "HEY!....*pauses*... don't forget about hindi movies!"
S: "...... THAT TOO!!"
hahahaha. man i'm so out of the american pop culture, it's kinda sad when i know more about the korean drama that is currently out in KOREA! and the upcoming indian movies!! sigh, i was telling that story to SARah, she was cracking up. NehOo!! AFterwards, i went out to lunch with Sarah... i don't remember exactly what we did, but we ended up going to this place.. it's classed san rancho? in los altos hills. it was a very nice place to walk. =] wonderful excerise for me at least. good bonding time for us. and very relaxing. That night, my dad got me a new laptop! =] my old one... sadly decided to finally die on me. it last longer than i thought. when i spilled jamba on it months ago, i thought it was a goner!
Then on Sunday, after vietnamese school. Sarah and I decided to head out to the Santa Cruz! it was awesome, we ended up sitting and watching the dogs run by. such a beautiful breeze. then it was back to reality. and realized that midterms were coming up for me! =( whyyyyyyyy. i am getting so sick of school! i need to get out of here, and work! =) and so what i like to do, help people! so it is a good thing to look forward to. happyhappy!!
